BHVI Embarks on a New Program for Growth

Sydney Australia, 9 September, 2019: Sydney Australia, 9 September, 2019: BHVI is embarking on a new strategic roadmap for our organization. This process included realigning our organizational structure.

We thank all of those who have recently left BHVI for their significant contributions and wish them well in all future endeavors.

BHVI’s science arm, VisionCRC, brings 25 years of innovative STEM expertise to BHVI, translating innovative research into commercially successful products. We are excited to announce that Dr. Arthur Back joins us as Managing Director of VisionCRC.

Under the leadership of Dr Back and Professor Padmaja Sankaridurg, we will continue to build an innovative R&D organization, cementing our exceptional track record and developing sustainable, collaborative, commercial models. Additionally, we are building new revenue streams through the growth of our professional services business providing Myopia management and education programs, globally.

Yvette Waddell, CEO of BHVI said: “We are excited to have Dr. Arthur Back join us. Dr Back invented more than 60 patents and commercialised 18 products while he was Chief Technology Officer at CooperVision. Combined with the expertise of Professor Sankaridurg, a pioneer in the field of Myopia research, we are at the forefront of our industry”.

To support the science, marketing agency Brand New You will be our new marketing partner and bring a fresh direction to our brand and how we engage with the public. Our finances are in the hands of KPMG.
